Don't act like you're not worried. Astros are phonies. You know it, I know it, mlb knows it.
4 games back with 18 to go. Its not impossible, but you're going to need to win series from MIL, @NYM, @HOU, and then not slip up vs the bad teams just to stand a chance. Doesa that seem realistic?
It's realistic if you guys lose a ****load of games.
4 games back with 10 to go. You have a 0.1% chance of winning the division and a 13% at the wild card (per FG). I think you need to win 9 at a minimum. If so, you need the Guards to only win 9 as well and then the Sox to win 6 or Astros to win 5. This assumes you have the tiebreaker.
I think that makes today a "must-win" game for the Rangers with de Grom on the mound. Gotta start winning, and gotta have teams above them lose (Astros). Pitching will again be in the Rangers favor, but that hasn't meant much most of the season (or this series).
I guess we'll find out soon enough.
