I would claim the dodgers are most hated baseball franchise

People just like to give astrosn**** about the trash cans

Bumping this after last nights trash fan base showing.

Dodgers universally hated not because they are good (ie patriots) but because they are trash

After a fun day at Kyle field I think we are in for a really good October and November (plus hopefully further) for Aggie football

Who would have thought that Aggie football would be our pick me up this fall

Sip game should be a much bigger game than we all thought it would be a few weeks ago.

Astros fans, where are we gathering to circle jerk while watching the GREATEST WORLD SERIES OF ALL TIME for viewership ratings?

Don't mind seeing it end. 1 of those years was because of covid. I want to distance myself from 2020-2021 as much as possible.

Not much noise here.

with all the hate for LA, you'd think the Dodgers stole a ring off the Astros' fingers.

Go Dodgers, beat those damn Yankees.

I hate their fans, not the organization. They are notoriously the most hostile and dangerous in baseball. It's the one place I wouldn't go wearing an Astros jersey.

Yep, Dodgers fans at their stadium are absolute trash. Seen it first hand on more than one occasion.

I hold some resentment for their organization. They always seem to be able to extract great players from other teams for nothing. They have all the money in the world and a great farm system.

When we traded Yu Darvish to the dodgers. All we got was a cry baby with a good bat, who couldn't field anywhere and he had the worst attitude I've ever seen.

The dodgers liked / thought so highly of Darvish that they actually started him 3 games in the World Series that year.

We got nothing. Probably should've just kept him and ate the loss instead of getting fleeced.

We should've got a Walker buehler or Alex verdugo in return.

Yeah the Ohtani thing rubbed me the wrong way as well. They got the best player in the world for basically a loan they'll pay later. Any other team couldn't have pulled that off.

Also Jack Flaherty was the hottest pitcher on the trade market… all the simulations had teams giving up top prospects and the dodgers got him for pretty much nothing.

Yeah I'm probably rooting for the Yankees. Can't believe I'm saying it, but the dodgers shenanigans piss me off.

Interesting, thanks for the heads-up. Planning on catching the Rangers there next season with a buddy. It's on my short list of stadiums to visit.

My wife was in New York for work during the 2017 ALCS so went to one of the games vs the Yankees. She was alone so probably a little on edge and a little more careful, but said she was made scared enough by fans that she took her hat off.

I agree about their fans but the hypocrisy and sanctimony from their players about 2017 is ridiculous. They were doing the same exact BS with electronic sign-stealing which was officially against the rules but everybody was doing on a "wink, wink" basis. Then they don't have any of the same BS whining about the Red Sox doing the exact same crap in 2018 to win the World Series over them. And they've welcomed Mookie Betts with open arms despite his benefitting from the Red Sox use of electronic sign-stealing and admitting that everybody was doing it.

I had always been largely indifferent to the Dodgers but after 2017 and their hypocrisy they can all die in a fire.*

*except for Freddie Freeman, he seems like a genuinely good dude in addition to being a fantastic baseball player whereas Kershaw is a dewsh and Joe Kelly is even worse.

My wife and I are going to NYC in August and catching one of the Astros games. Hoping the tensions have cooled off a bit because we are taking the baby (who will be 1 and a half by that point)

I went 2 summers ago on my son's 5th birthday. Took the subway there and back. Spouse and 1 kid wore ny stuff and b-day boy and I wore Astros (just happened to play ON his birthday when we were up there).

I got some joshing, but nothing too wild/crazy. Was a day game. The bigger issue was it was also Pride Day and the HVAC systems weren't working on the trains/subways as well as they could, so you had double crowds, on a Sunday, and the smell of people (from both events) and THAT was a bit much.

It also helps to be 2 meters tall and have a DILLIGAF look at all times.

I went this season when the Astros played at Yankee Stadium. Walked 30-40 minutes through the Bronx in Astros gear with no problem. People at the game were fine. They booed Altuve like he had murdered their mother, but it was never aimed at us. Yes, there was a mouthy jackass or two, but it was nothing like my trip to the south side of Chicago in '23 where people shouted at our group pretty much the whole game.
