This. MLB is doing nothing about because they love to suck LA's dick. If any team not named LA, Boston, Chicago or NY was do this they'd put an end to it.

I don't think a lefty OF is a priority anymore after the Gamel addition.

If they make a move between now and opening day they'll be adding an arm and/or Arenado.

MLB isn't doing anything because it can't.

That's a CBA issue and they can't change that until the next round of negotiations come up.

And anyone seriously booing Alex is essentially saying they wouldn't take $120M over 3 years to play at Fenway i.e. they're an idiot. I think he would've came back for 6/$180M but am glad we didn't do it. Who knows down the road at some point there may be a good time to bring him back.

Getting payback on Boston in '21 is one of my favorite moments of the Golden Era, and i really don't like hearing it from Red Sox fans about 2017, but Alex going to BOS isn't the same as him going to NY or LA.

Nolan Arenado moves to the forefront in the third base market, now that Bregman is off the board. The Yankees have not been engaged in conversations with the Cardinals about him.
