Dubon is a good clubhouse guy and a great back up. He brings value, but it's either him or Caratini for clearing cap.
Someone's reporting is wrong. Tags says he'd be willing to revisit the trade and possibly accept it. Chandler says no way he even considers it.

Watching two at bats today…Cam Smith is a large LARGE human being. I already came wait to watch him this spring and really hope something clicks and fast.
There is nothing more exciting than tracking new young talent and waiting for it to click and for them to arrive.

Brian Kenny is such a Northeast homer. He has good point on the defensive metrics here, but it comes across as a hot piece against a HOF player. McTaggart had a decent rebuttal.

I've seen some negativity here around the Arenado scenario. What is the concern? I like the idea of it.

Do you know if the hangup is on Nolan approving or on agreeing to the components of the trade (players/money)?
A couple things: he's relatively old & we're still paying Abreu's terrible deal, Montero is (currently) also on the roster. LMJ's injury is costing us. None of it is our money, but considering we are hellbent on staying out of the CBT, taking on another aging & declining player.

Remember when it was a long shot that Alex takes a deal less than 200M and 6 years? Hmmm....yeah, the long shot talks just sound more like posturing from one side to get a better deal....
