Looking at the MLB.com 40 man roster for the Astros, there are only 39 spots currently filled therefore Urias will not require a corresponding move.

Is that correct?

Added: I guess Paredes is about to be moved to the 60 day IL so that will open a spot. Still, going to be a lot of 40 man moves dependant on any additional trades today and the plethora of guys coming of the 60 day over the next couple of weeks.

The Ramon Urias trade is perfect. We get another slightly less versatile Dubon, for $3 million bucks and gave up a Single A prospect.

Slightly less versatile Dubon may not sound sexy, but it beats the hell outta Short or any of the other AAA players we're rotating around.

I don't think so anymore now that we have Urias to fill in on defense.

It's pretty much if the Twins want to shed a large chunk of Correa's contract with the one club willing to take it on and the one club as of now that Correa will waive his no trade rights for.

In real time, this was my favorite trade the Astros ever pulled off. Verlander was awesome, but we hadn't won anything yet so it just felt like maybe a repeat of the Randy Johnson 1998 deal… But this trade really felt like we were going to win it all again. And in hindsight, having Greinke on the Astros from 2019-2021 was so much fun and I took it for granted

I'd contend we should have beaten Atlanta given their record and ours… but losing Lance in the ALDS sealed it (crazy as that sounds today). But we had the offense to win it

Going to the game last Sunday and I look at the pennant/WS flags and it bothers me. There should be, to me, only one pennant flag and 4 WS flags. 2019 sticks out the most, but so does 2018.

I have never understood why they don't put a flag for the pennant on the years they won the WS. They still won the pennant, you don't lose that because you won the series.
