That was my first and only semester at A&M for my undergrad. I still hate Kevin Brown and Jim Leyritz and his fat head. Easily the most disappointing season of the Killer B era.

Thankfully the Aggies upset #2 Nebraska the next week to remove some of the sting. Although I drank enough that semester to pretty much remove all feeling anyway.

I was 24 that year and in a "real job" so took both days off and splurged on tickets for Games 1 and 2 of the NLDS that year. Leyritz won the first one with a walkoff, Billy Spiers returned the favor in Game 2. Feel like Brown somehow pitched Games 1 and 3 or 1 and 4, I can't remember now.

The real "highlight" of that playoff series was me driving into my buddy's house so we could get to a day game - I was late. We were in such a rush that he turned the wrong way on Greenbriar over by Rice University and we're speeding down a 1-way street in the wrong direction towards the Dome. A good looking woman in a Jeep comes driving the other way and lays on the horn, and both he and I - like we were the brothers from Night at the Roxbury - immediately think she's checking us out - 2 idiots in a Ford Explorer - and we're both like "Hey,whats up!" as she flies by. About 90 seconds later when we came to a backwards-facing stoplight, we figured it out.

I really would just roll the dice and bring all these guys up and tandem them. Even if all you get is 3-3.1 IP each at the start, between 2 of them you get 6-7 IP.

It's time to get creative.

You need a sub, but I think they are offering a 1 month free trial.

you need a sub, but you can google free trials and find one...ive 'bought a trial' from best buy a couple of times and that has worked.

note looks like t-mobile customers get it for free currently, all of the old ways i used to get it for free appear to be tapped out
