100%. It's the only pattern that holds for this team.
But that's assuming they manage to win tomorrow even.

Maybe Elon Musk will buy the team and spend eleventy-billion on hitters and left fielders taller than 5'-4".
In 20 years his spawn could actually fill the field.

Christian Walker from 2022-24 had an OPS over .800 and various other gaudy stats
When that guy shows up will be very welcome
Hopefully it's not "if"

So glad we didn't get this guy

I'm thinking maybe we should hire this STL hitting coach.
These guys are relentless.
Remember when we were relentless? Yeah that was fun.
I dont know how big of a problem Cintron is. I dont think he has done much for himself as far as giving anyone much hope.Maroon&Fight said:BadAggie said:

Altuve showing up at .748 OPS, literally love the guy
Paredes is producing at .801, not wow but generally like what we're seeing, feels like on right track
Don't need to look further than the 3-4-5 for source of offensive struggles
I was in favor of trading him this past offseason. I mentioned Baltimore needing pitching and they are loaded with prospects. But, I was "ok" with keeping him, knowing that we could trade him at the deadline if we are out of it. Problem is you can actually hear his trade value go down after performances like last night.MaxPower said:
Somebody is giving it to him. The question really should have been are you better off taking the last year of Framber plus a draft pick or trading him. I personally would have traded him but I get that Dana is trying to thread a fine needle. I think Dana is ultimately making it harder on himself not just ripping off the bandaid.

Last year through 16 games Walker was slashing 300/417/467/884 with 3 HRs
I get he didn't have a spring training this year but he's kinda been in the league a while
In the hey he's a pro he'll figure it out perspective in 2023 he started 186/231/322/553 with 2 HRs in first 16 games and finished with 258/333/497/830 with 36 doubles, 33 HRs and 103 RBIs

His trade value will be strong. The problem is that we are still going to be in contention for a crap division even if we are .500. I don't see Dana as willing to handle the smoke that comes with the optics of that trade.

If we're in contention for the division you'd want to trade away a piece and not compete for it? That seems like crazy talk. The goal is to win a title. You gotta make October to do that.
in one spring training and 3 weeks of a season...gigemJTH12 said:I dont know how big of a problem Cintron is. I dont think he has done much for himself as far as giving anyone much hope.Maroon&Fight said:BadAggie said:
