Hunter Brown is an ace. He is way under appreciated. Pay him the big bucks after this year. Framber is just too flaky for that kind of investment.

Feel good about chances if 3-4-5 hitters have some reversion to their career OPS mean eventually

Though starting rotation is more iffy than historically and bullpen has its questions

Can't have a 7-19 start again

Probably rusty. They said on the radio the other day that he usually plays winter ball but the club asked him not to this last off season to save wear on his arm.

It not just the division. The best record in the AL is 10-7 right now. We are only 2 games off of the pace with no hot hitters.

Standings Thoughts

We have the best run differential in the ALW at -1. Arlington is tied for the worst with Sacramento at -15.
-1 is good for 6th best in the AL.

The difference between Arlington (First)) and Sacramento (Last) - One Run ballgames. One is 5-0, the other is 0-4.
We're 2-2. .500 and pretty middle of the pack (obviously)

The NL is significantly better than the AL. The top five baseball records are all NL, and only five NL teams are sub .500.

The Dodgers are in 3rd place...lol

As you can see from the 5 major categories that make up Fielding Run Value, we struggle with 3 of them and are best in class in one. The range is elite (Meyers, Altuve, Pena, Dubon, McCormick, & Walker), but we got some noodle arms and Yainer/Caratini have some work to do.

Their winning percentage is .588 which projects to 95 wins. They're fun as heck to watch even without their best player Ketel Marte. Someone said it earlier but the Astros offense is like watching a Jimbo offense.
