As you can see from the 5 major categories that make up Fielding Run Value, we struggle with 3 of them and are best in class in one. The range is elite (Meyers, Altuve, Pena, Dubon, McCormick, & Walker), but we got some noodle arms and Yainer/Caratini have some work to do.

I don't think Yainer or Victor can do a damn thing to fix this. These bases are being stolen on the pitchers. Look at Framber. They steal on him at will. For whatever reason we just don't emphasize holding runners on.

It was mentioned last night on 790 that this would be a great game for Christian to sit, but hopefully he gets something going at the plate today before facing a former divisional rival this weekend.

Where is the new stadium compared to Busch? Did they just build it on top of the other? I went there on my epic baseball 1996 road trip - first stop, and saw Ozzie play in his final season. That game was a real Sophie's choice - root for the Cardinals or the Dodgers.

I drove there with no idea where the stadium was (pre Google maps) but had watched enough Astros games on TV to know you could see the Arch from the stadium, so I just followed the signs for that. And I had the joy of watching two Cardinal legends - Tom Pagnozzi and Ray Lankford - hit homers

On the bright side, the Astros avoided complete disaster.

I'll take a 1st inning lead!

Hopefully good Blanco shows up today.
