Lars Nootbaar. Is that like a nordic Milky Way?
Back in Old Army (a few years ago) you could turn on the Astros' game in the 2nd inning and we'd be up 3-0 EVERY SINGLE TIME if I recall correctly.tjack16 said:Wabs said:
2nd and 3rd with no outs, 3-4-5 coming up.
1 ****ing run
Is it sad that I was happy about the 1 run? Thats the lowered expectations I've got at this point
I mean, to me, it's just baseball. Many teams only get 1 run out of that situation.tjack16 said:Wabs said:

Oh, I thought it was because the shape of the actual number wasn't straight like a 1.Beat40 said:I mean, to me, it's just baseball. Many teams only get 1 run out of that situation.tjack16 said:Wabs said:

Definitely wanted more out of that, but this is a hard sport. There's a reason an inning when a team scores 2 runs is called a crooked inning.
Like most of our pitchers, he would benefit from putting it in the strike zone more often.Beat40 said:
I was thinking about Abreu a little bit last night. I wonder if he would benefit from a third pitch sinker.
Less of another Astros tradition?Mathguy64 said:
Walking guys at the bottom 1/3 of the order. It's something we need to do less of.
I worry less about a bottom of the order walk with 2 outs than with none!Mathguy64 said:

Wait until the 3rd time through.Wabs said:
This lineup should be doing damage to a left handed pitcher. But we're doing the exact opposite.

Wait. Baseball is now soccer where the whole ball has to be over the whole line?
