Can't believe I'll actually be happy when the Astros season is over. Hope I never watch another game managed by Joe Espada after Sunday's game.

In the end, losing all the games to CWS, COL, and LAA is why we have to make the change. We were absolute dog crap versus bad teams this year more often than not.

Only thing of interest was keeping consecutive postseason streak alive

the Astros fall to 23-27 vs. the West

5-8 vs. the A's
6-5 vs. the Angels
5-8 vs. the Mariners
7-6 vs. the Rangers

used to dominate those teams but no more

I'm not sure why Murray was pulled after the great play by Cole. Did it really matter that Moncada was announced to PH? I would have taken my chances there instead of burning King.

Then, why PH for Cole with Caratini? I get wanting the righty left matchup, but Cole had just made a great defensive play and had been decent at the plate, why not let him hit and go with the hot hand? It would have been better the use Caratini in the 9th against Jansen.

And why pitch anything close to the zone for Trout?? He's the biggest threat in their lineup!

Yeah, the tactical decisions in the 8th & 9th made zero sense. Just shows someone grasping for straws with no approach.

Those decisions didn't cost the lead tonight, but they may have sabotaged a comeback tonight or the remainder of the weekend.

Cole should have batted in the 8th

and then Caratini in the 9th

Espada traded a Cole at-bat for a Sanchez or Dubon at-bat
