Dana cannot run it back with the same 12 or 13 position players (even though all except Caratini are under contract for next season)

They are missing a few factors:
1. Another big bat or two. The current roster outside of Yordan and Paredes does not hit for enough power.
2. Some players that are like Michael Brantley. Work counts. Get on base. Do the small things. We don't have many of those.
Frankly, I want to see Diaz gone. This season was a disaster for him, and if this is "who he is" I don't want him on the team.
Meyers is disposable. Yes, he hits for average, but has no power.
Walker - get rid of him. His defense is awful and his bat is slow. Move Paredes to 1B. I don't care that he hit 25 home runs. That's the extent of his entire offensive contribution this season, and it's not enough to do the small things. Striking out relentlessly with men on base isn't going to win games. Being able to work counts and make contact is.
