Peña's reaction: "I love Houston. I love the city of Houston. I love this team. This is all I've known and I feel like it's every kid's dream to play their whole career with the same team. As of right now, my focus is just to show up every single day and play. I admire Altuve.… https://t.co/ICkkRY3LN5

Wasn't too long ago that down 3 runs was insurmountable so happy to see we've got some life. M's just put their ace on the shelf for two weeks with "forearm tightness" and we all know how that story ends.Maroon&Fight said:
Refreshing to see the offense come alive after going down 3, especially against a good pitching staff. Just keep managing this long stretch of quality teams
Nobody wants to be the CF, apparently. I would like to see Chas get to at least 50 or 60 ABs. Jake has 73 already, and is 2 for his last 21 (and not a single walk)iBrad said:
Someone mentioned the pillow fight for the CF job…Chas followed up a strong showing by going 0-3 with 3 Ks in a game where the Astros only struck out five times as a team. He was the only starter without a hit, too.
Feels like we're headed to a Dubon start in CF soon.

I'd rather see Air Bud from those Golden Retriever movies before Dubon.AgSportsFan89 said:I'd rather see this before Dubon.linkdude said:

The saddest irony is that one of the best human beings in the league BY FAR is the most hated. F*** YOU MANFRED!!!!Mr.Bond said:West Roxbury said:

MLB doesn't deserve him the way he's been wrongfully vilified. I ****in love that man. My all time favorite athlete
I'd rather see any poster on this thread get the start at CF before DubonAgSportsFan89 said:I'd rather see this before Dubon.linkdude said:

Idk if this is accurate but it feels like Joe and co. are over-managing the lineup
My problem is that they will have a lineup that gets hot and has a big game, and the next day the guys who sparked it get a rest day and we put in guys who haven't done jack. I would like to see us put in a lineup that puts up crooked numbers, and then ride with that lineup intact for a few days to see what they can do consistently before started to F with it again.Ag_07 said:wehnerhigh20 said:

Yeah but I also can't say I blame them.
He's not getting what he needs out of the big sticks so he's got to shuffle things around to try and shake something loose.
My complaint is by now they should know Dubon ain't it. Shake another branch for God's sake.
It is more than just plugging in guys like Dubon damn near every day, it is moving guys around from spots where they were successful. We did it last spring with Bregman, when he wasn't hitting for crap. Joe would move him down to 5-6 and he would go off and hit everything. So 1-2 games later Joe would move him back to the 2 hole and his bat would go quiet again. Same thing this year. Meyers was finally hitting in the 9 hole. So we immediately move him up in the lineup to nip that in the bud. The pressure of getting moved up gets to him and he suddenly can't hit anything. Now he is back at the 9 hole and can't even make contact, much less hit effectively. I get that analytics is a thing and for some reason they think Dubon is just waiting to go off, but at some point you have to also just let guys play and settle into a role with what is expected from them.wehnerhigh20 said:
This is how I feel as well. This isn't little league where everyone on the bench needs a chance to play. We already know what we're getting from Dubon, we don't need to try it every other game.

I tend to agree - except that last night he should have been in the line-up. He was the only Astro with a good career numbers vs. Flaherty
