I like it!

Which probably means we will get no-hit.

This is why I don't assume someone is headed to the IL every time another player is called up.

    Nice
It would be a crime for someone with the last name BlueBall to have any number other than 69
Hopefully 69 helps fix any issues Blueball might have

The Arlingtons are gonna need once in a lifetime seasons from multiple players (again) to improve that 78-84.

Again. They'll need once in a lifetime seasons again.

This Day in Astros History always makes me bummed out when I think about what might have been for the '94 Astros, even with Bagwell breaking his hand for the 50th time in August.

April 30, 1994: Steve Finley and Jeff Bagwell each homer, part of their four hits apiece as Houston stomps the Cards, 15-5. Total attendance breaks the 50,000 mark for the first time in a regular-season game since 1966.

That was the 23rd game of the year for Houston. Bagwell already had 6 HR, 26 RBI, and was batting .360.

Team was 66-49 at the time of the strike, on its way to a 93-win season. They were 1/2 game behind the Reds.

    Beyond Bagwell's unprecedented season:

Biggio was leading the league in doubles (44) and stolen bases (39) and hitting .318. He was on pace for 61 doubles - nobody has reached 60 doubles since the 1930s - and 54 steals, not to mention 196 hits.

Caminti was on pace for 25 HR and 106 RBI.

Kevin Bass had resigned with the team and was hitting .310 playing about 2/3rds of the time.

Drabek was 12-6 with a 2.84 ERA. On pace for 17-18 wins. John Hudek was having a great rookie year as the closer.

In the off-season, they dumped Caminiti, Finley, and Cedeno to the Padres for Bell, Brocail, Phil "I will suck" Plantier, Ricky Gutierrez, Shipley and the wrong Pedro Martinez. You figure they would have kept Caminiti around if the strike hadn't happened and they had made the playoffs.

Too early in the season for me to keep up with division foes.

What's going on in Arlington? I need a good laugh this morning.

Like the crystal carriage in Cinderella, it chimed midnight and they turned back into a pumpkin.

Their hitters have reverted to their means. And they really miss Seagar.

A whole lot of head scratching...

    The Original Houston 1836

Semien is hitting .178 with a .493 OPS and an -0.6 WAR
Burger (1B) is hitting .196 with an -0.4 WAR
Josh Smith and Seager and Joc Pederson are all hurt.
Roid Rage has 4 HR and 14 RBi but he's hitting .214.

Their top 3 starters are really good, Tyler Mahle is the only guy in front of HB in ERA so far.

Kumar Rocker looks like a train wreck 1-3 with an 8.10 ERA. The A's dropped 5 earned runs on him and he didn't get out of the 2nd inning last week.

    All I do is Nguyen

Last time he pitched, Schloss was the most loved coach on campus after that magical omaha run.

Also I was a newlywed. Now we are approaching 3rd anniversary and our baby just turned 1 year old
