Yordan is a fearsome hitter when healthy. He has been hurt at some point most seasons, but his stats show 496, 561, 598, and 635 plate appearances the past four years. He had 369 PA's in 2019 after being called up until June.

Looking at potential targets from the Mets if we traded Framber:

Nolan McLean - Possibly the best sweeper in the minors. He was a two way player and this is his first year focusing purely on pitching. So far he has a 1.37 ERA in AA with 30 K's in 26.1 innings.

Drew Gilbert - Why not a reunion with a CF lefty bat we need? He's been much improved in AAA this year with a .273/.414/.409 line and 10:10 K:BB ratio. The statcast metrics are positive as well. His average EV is 90.4 and hard hit % is 47.2. Both of those would be above average in the bigs while his k and walk rates would be excellent. Throw in his generally well regarded defense in CF and swag and you have an interesting piece that could help immediately.

AJ Ewing - Another much needed lefty bat. He's only 20 in high A but is scorching with a .400/.506/.615 line. Baseball America describes his bat as "It's average raw power with plus-plus contact and plus-plus swing decisions". Similar profile to Gilbert as a hitter with maybe more speed on the bases but less defensive value (may be able to handle CF but likely fits as a 2B).

To have Jake on a list like this in May is pretty phenomenal. I got a little worried after his 0-14 stretch with 9 Ks, but he rebounded nicely…and then some. Apparently he just needs road trips to get going. He's keeping his bingo square alive!

We used to be the bad guys for "stealing signs" and increasing pitcher ERAs. Where is the praise for us helping to lower the ERA for a lot of struggling pitchers?
