I think the Astros do a trade with the Marlins, there's been a little smoke but otherwise out of the focus of Twins, Orioles, Rays, DBacks rumors.

Orioles do have a number of rental pieces that address specific Astro needs, wouldn't be surprised to see a deal and the two clubs have traded before recently

I feel like this crack shot medical team often tries to avoid the worst case scenario when eventually that is indeed what happens.

Just have the damn surgery at the time of the injury and stop wasting time trying rest it and let it magically heal.

it might be better for the Twins to see if Carlos can have a strong August & September...

or a strong 1st half next year...

such that the Twins could find a trade partner who would ask the Twins to cover a smaller amount of the remaining years

the Astros might be asking for upwards of 50%

Correa has the no trade clause and if I was a player I wouldn't want to be traded unless the location/team was an ideal fit

He may only waive it for Houston

Thinking about Gilbert moving again…I knew we lost some draft picks, but man, the lack of production out of Click's drafts kind of retroactively justify the dude being canned.

5-3 years on and only 1 serious MLB contributor (Arrighetti) with Melton and Whitcomb as the next best guys.
