Alcantara - Astros have experience with pitchers coming back from TJ. Controllable and had elite stuff, also perhaps affordable

He's $6.5 million cheaper than Lance next season. Both have ERAs over 6, but Sandy has pitched 65 more innings.

It would probably be too much to ask to see if they'd take Lance back with prospects.

If Melton is moved then Astros need to land Mullins, can't be rolling with the Chas/Corona tandem and putting pressure on Jake to return earlier. Then when Jake returns you have some quality OF depth

With their pitching it seems like an extra bat would help them. Surprised I haven't seen their name being mentioned much.
