Nice start to the season, series win over a team who will be damn good in the AL this year.

I think Jackson should be the 8th inning guy, with Martin as the closer. Jackson is a wild ride, so far.

I wouldn't call getting hit with a fastball on the wrist a fundamental baseball function. You could call him injury prone sure, but it sounds like the team is just being precautious with his neck. Pre game show said he would be good to go in 3 or 4 days but the team wanted him to get extra time to put it to bed since it's so early in the season.


I hope so...but he missed last season after catching a ball.

I think a team never really knows what it has in the pen until the season gets going. And then you really don't know until after the trade deadline.
