Ultimately we're right around league average in that regard. 49.8% runners score in that situation for Texas, average is 51%.

Astros at 48.6% and Mariners at 45.8%.

Seager isn't the issue here, it's the 18 million to Joc, 12 million to Bombi, 27 million to Semien and 5 million to Heim for them to be 4 of the worst regulars in baseball this year.

We also ended up cutting Leody and getting replacement level play in CF and Jung gave us barely better than replacement level at 3rd.

Pretty much everyone outside of Seager and Langford and Smith was worthless on offense this year.

The sad problem is that we do not have prospects on the way that are going to fix this issue (Walcott is our only stud hitting prospect and he's still really raw) and with the money tied up in guys like Joc and Semien for next year it's unlikely we have the cash to pull in someone like Schwarber to give us that elite DH bat+clubhouse presence.

Can't argue that.

Depending on where you live, you may be able to watch it on a local channel since it is Friday night. In Austin it is on a local channel tonight... which is good, I can flip back and forth to other channels. When it's on the app, changing to check on something else on tv sucks
