So he will end up being paid roughly $1MM per actual game played.

Easily the worst contract ever handed out. He literally is Mt Rushmore all by himself.

Tucker at least has lower injury risk. Rendon dealt with injuries way before that contract.

I don't think Suarez gets as much as Cease. He's a poor man's Framber who has never hit 160 innings.

I agree this market eliminates us from the top tier arms but I don't agree anyone will get more than Cease. Suarez and Framber will end up 160-200 range.

The SP market is deep tho. King, Gallen, Eflin, Bassit, Martinez, and lots more. Plus all the trade options.

Didn't senior have more but the kids all got a piece?

I can also see them having to spend a bunch of money just to play 162 games a year.

Crane got how many extra games over the years to make the money back?
