60 extra base hits for Duran last year (16 HR, 41 2B, 13 3B) and a 4.7 WAR.
Even if Paredes was healthy the whole season he wouldn't have matched those numbers.
It's actually 70 EXB - 41+16=57+13=70
But a full season projected of Paredes last year would have been 24 2B, 2 3B, 32 HR (58 EXB).
I'm not sure Durran's doubles and triples totals are worth more than 32 HR
Other notables from looking up Durran's stats.
Slugging dropped 50 points from '24 to '25
OPS dropped 60 points from '24 to '25.
Average has gone from .295 in '23 to .285 in .24 to .256 in '25.
He walked 60 times in 2025, struck out 169 times, while Paredes was on pace for 80 walks and 120 K.
The biggest factor in Paredes .> Durran for me is Durran will be 30 on September 5th, while Paredes turns 27 in February. 27 is supposely the "start your prime age'.
