They set him up like that so he starts after off days in future rounds of the rotation. Keep in mind they start less frequently and have more rest where he was before.

We were discussing a 6 man rotation to begin the season

Now we are at 5 the first couple times thru

Just pulling this back since you didn't get many responses.

The zone Diamond club (sections 126-129) is actually really cheap if you get tickets same day. We got tickets at about $125 before fees plenty of times. Also includes VIP parking right in between Kauffman and Arrowhead. Like a 1-2 minute walk and your own entrance. Someone comes and waits on you at your seat.

Other good options are either baseline in the 100s.

Just watch tickets 1-2 weeks before you go. Definitely don't buy in advance. Tickets can be had for cheap.

PCA's #s were straight ass down the stretch last year.
.216 average with a .634 OPS in the final 62 games.

But I hope he succeeds because it will make the Mets look that much stupider for trading him for Javier Baez, who no longer plays for them and Trevor Williams, who also no longer plays for them.

The Mets got a 3-5 record with 1 save from Williams and 47 games from Baez in exchange for PCA as they charged down the stretch to a 77-85 record in 2021. As a Mets hater for the last 40 years, that's as good as it gets.
