We took a mediocre offense in 2025 and the only offseason move we made was to trade opportunity for hope. Dana is the one that needs to be looking over his shoulder.

It's amazing how a jam shot blooper can alter perspectives. Had Correa gotten one with the bases juiced instead of lining out to left, we'd have a couple of runs. Instead, LA got one and we are ready to fire the manager. Interesting how much luck impacts how we view a game.

Also, there are ballparks where Correa's hit might have fallen, but left fielders shade toward the gap at Daikin.

luck is even more important when you don't get any barrels on the ball

All last season, we kept hearing about how "unlucky" our hitters like Walker were against what some random system predicted for an outcome. At some point, the hits not dropping and the line drives not finding the gaps becomes reality and not just unlucky.

Margin for error is going to be so tight this season with this offense.

Bullpen needs to be nails and starters need to get into the 6th consistently or it'll be a long one
