Pretty sure the run game is actually bigger in Japan, it's a less power-heavy version of the sport.

It's just that the 2026 Astros simply can't abide not trailing.

Yeah, being on the east coast it makes it really easy for me to keep my bedtime. And eliminates any desire to even think about Astros After Dark entirely.

I think I can count on one hand the number of games I've finished since the first Red Sox series ended. It's one thing to be bad, it's another to be miserably unwatchable, and it's yet another for nobody in charge to care about making change.

Once you accept it's a lost season and help isn't coming from anywhere, it's easy to move on when it's the literal opposite of entertaining.

If the rest of this season is close to the start, I'd say there's a good chance he does. Failure is bad enough, but in a place you hate? Taking $54 million back to Tokyo would be the easiest decision he'll ever make.
