Home of The Cavern Sessions (formerly Bluegrass Underground). It's been on my bucket list for a while and would love to see a concert there if the right performer is booked there. We've been checking their schedule weekly.

Has anyone here been there? We're wondering what else there is in the area. Looking for relatively passive activities, as I'm a little bit mobility-limited. I've Googled some things but would love to hear first-hand experiences.

went there in 2023 for Blackberry Smoke....i can tell you there's not much of anything around there....we stayed in Manchester, TN.....about 30 minutes away...they have some decent restaurants and lodging....i've been to Tullahoma, TN, and this could be an option as well...there's a few things to do there...only other thing i can think of is the Jack Daniels Distillery in Lynchburg....about an hour away from the Caverns...

what kind of music do you like? looks like an Abba tribute band on 4/6......could that be the right performer for you?

Saw a concert there in 2018 and really enjoyed the experience. As mentioned by the other poster, it's out in the middle of nothing much. Definitely the kind of place that you can make a day trip around, but stay farther away if you want to do other things over the course of a few days.

Sewanee: The University of the South is nearby. Beautiful small campus.

George Dickel and Jack Daniels distilleries are in the general area.

I'm thinking about going to see Larry Fleet there in May. Looks like an awesome venue.

I thought I read where it is standing only, so if you have mobility issues, you may want to call them and ask what options there are.

Sewanee Inn is a good place to stay.

There is camping within walking distance. Pretty country out there but not much else. There are lots of air bnb and tiny house rentals.

Pay for seats. Even though they are old and metal.

Several good food trucks onsite.

Personally I prefer seeing concerts at the Ryman Auditorium.

For the wife and I, we'd be looking at artists like The Mavericks, Steve Earle, Brothers Osborne, etc.

Currently we have tickets for The Mavericks and Dwight Yoakam for May 16th in Las Cruces, so that's covered.

I'm keeping my eye on the upcoming schedule of performers. It currently only goes through July.
