Terms have been agreed and it's up for zoning vote next month. Then on to referendum. I haven't looked into Bucees other locations like the Johnstown one, but it seems like they are giving a lot for infrastructure to get the place open.

They have also set up recall elections on several council members hoping to replace them with folks on the opposition side in September. Whole deal to me really seems like a smallish group of anti-texan yahoos being a very squeaky wheel. Has all the shades of Timnath killing a Top Golf location because they thought the nets would kill the bald eagles in the area (or the lights would shine too brightly into their multi milion dollar properties).

I saw that as well. I suspect your intuition is correct. They have a bunch of signs headed over to Palmer lake. Going back to when I built my house down here over a decade ago I always thought that would be a perfect spot for one. I'm just happy they're putting one in there, ~ 30 mins from my house. I pop out onto 25 right there off of county line rd whenever I'm headed up to Denver.

Any interest in Savannah Bananas tickets for this weekend? My wife and I have 5 each on Saturday and Sunday but unfortunately my grandmother passed and the funeral is in Ohio on Saturday. Just looking for face value (60 each). I don't know exactly where the tickets are yet since they haven't given that out yet, but they are both on the first level from behind home plate and left field line.

Well, as one who lives in Monument I'm against it. Actually I don't know anyone who lives in the local area that is for it except the town council of Palmer Lake. I use County Line Road a lot. It's just going to be one huge mess. Further south towards Baptist Road or further north toward Larkspur would be a much better location. Putting it at the top of the Palmer Divide, the place that gets the most snow along I-25 is ridiculous.

Buc-ee's would be making a ton of infrastructure improvements to mitigate their trip generations.

Dang, people are about to find out about Palmer and ruin it.

City council probably (and rightly) thinks it will help them keep local taxes from being raised any time soon.

I just noticed a JSX plane flying in to centennial the other day (I thought they were just out of rocky mtn airport).. so looked into it and sure enough, they switched their operations to centennial about a month ago.

I really hope they expand their destinations out of Denver. This is totally viable option for flying and would be so much more enjoyable compared to DEN.

Kinda want to book a Vegas weekend getaway to try it out. Plus the chase united club card has a $200 credit for jsx!
