To each their own, but I'm amazed anyone from Texas would pay to eat at La Loma. Talk about a terrible menu. Drinks are good, but real pricey. We've talked with many of the staff there and they literally laugh about the food. They know it's **** and don't eat there even if free.

Colorado Mexican is weak enough. No reason to make it worse there.

Well the only other Mexican joint that gets recommended for the south suburbs is Los Dos with their cult following and that place is terrible.

Agreed, don't get the love for Los Dos' food or beer at all.

I've gotten fajitas as Hacienda Colorado a few times and liked them.

La Loma is very underwhelming, it's like another Mi Cocina from Dallas.

Best Mexican we've found in the south metro area is Venalonzo's in Centennial.

That's because Hacienda Colorado is Uncle Julio's (from DFW) in Colorado. Seriously, same company.

Weirdly enough Hacienda Colorado is somehow worse than Uncle Julio's but the fajitas are the same.

At Least La Loma's fajitas are good, everything else besides the margs is meh. Problem is it is 4 min from my house in Castle Pines so convenience wins out.

I don't think Hacienda has always been connected to Uncle Julios. It used to be a lot better.

You're correct. They werent acquired until 2019. Over 20 years in business before that.

Disagree about La Loma's food. The green chili - at all their restaurants - is fabulous.
