ChelataAg a few pages back had RECd GRRR (maybe others did too not sure), but just looking into this more this morning I think this is a ticker that has a real chance to break.

I do too, just couldn't buy in Friday because I was busy and didn't want to make the call in to Fidelity to buy some til I was back in the office. Plan to buy some on Monday.

I ask Grok if Intel primed to be America's number 1 chip maker.

Key Strengths Priming Intel as U.S. #1
Only major U.S.-owned advanced foundry: Intel designs and manufactures its chips (IDM model), with progress on Intel 18A (its most advanced node, now in high-volume production with technologies like RibbonFET and PowerVia). This positions it to close the gap with TSMC. Panther Lake (Core Ultra Series 3) chips on 18A launched successfully at CES 2026.
AI and data center tailwinds: Growing demand for CPUs in inference/edge AI, plus foundry services (advanced packaging). Partnerships (e.g., with Google, NVIDIA for some systems).
National security angle: With ~92% of cutting-edge chips historically made in Taiwan, Intel is central to U.S. reshoring efforts.

Bottom line: Intel is primed as America's premier vertically integrated, U.S.-based advanced chip manufacturervital for sovereignty and with real momentum in 2026 from AI CPUs, process tech recovery, and policy support. It's not eclipsing NVIDIA in AI dominance or overall scale, but for "America's #1 chip maker" in a strategic/manufacturing sense, it's the standout and appears on a solid recovery path. Success hinges on sustaining 18A execution and foundry wins. This is a dynamic industrymonitor upcoming quarters closely.

IMHO, it is not too late to jump on the Intel train as it climbs to the top.

LMAO...you might want to go do research on Intel's failures with their foundry...18A was such a disaster they decided to skip 20A. They've had massive layoffs and still are losing money.

TSMC could go on vacation for an entire year and still would be light years ahead of Intel.

This is good info. I asked Grok for the best ETF that covers Data Centers. This is the answer:

TRFK (Pacer Data and Digital Revolution ETF) holds the most companies from the infographic overall.

finance.yahoo.com
Why TRFK?The infographic spans the full data center product stack (compute/GPUs, networking chips/switches, power/cooling, security, software, real estate, etc.). TRFK is the broadest "data and digital revolution" ETF, targeting companies involved in data processing, transmission, storage, and enabling infrastructure.

  • Strong coverage in key layers:

    • Compute Layer: Heavy weights in NVIDIA, AMD, Broadcom, Intel, Marvell (GPUs, accelerators, AI servers, memory-related semis).

      paceretfs.com
    • Networking Layer: Arista, Cisco, Broadcom, NVIDIA, etc.
    • Software & Operations/Security: Palo Alto, CrowdStrike, etc.
    • Other: Oracle, Western Digital, etc.
  • TRFK Top Holdings (recent): NVIDIA, Broadcom, AMD, Oracle, Intel, Cisco, Arista, etc. many direct matches from the image's compute/networking/semiconductor focus.

    finance.yahoo.com
Comparison to Others
  • DTCR (Global X Data Center & Digital Infrastructure) and SRVR (Pacer Data & Infrastructure Real Estate): Excellent for Real Estate & Land (heavy in EQIX, DLR, AMT, etc.) and some infrastructure, but very limited exposure to compute manufacturers (NVIDIA, AMD, etc.), cooling (Vertiv), or networking chips. They are REIT/infrastructure-heavy.

    globalxetfs.com
  • IDGT (iShares U.S. Digital Infrastructure and Real Estate): Similar to DTCR/SRVR strong on data center REITs, towers, and some networking equipment (Cisco, etc.), but lighter on pure compute/semiconductor plays.

    finance.yahoo.com
Summary Recommendation
  • Broadest coverage of the infographic: TRFK (best for the "everything that goes into it" tech/manufacturing side).
  • If you want data center operators/real estate focus: DTCR or SRVR (they dominate EQIX, DLR, etc.).
  • No single ETF holds all the companies (many are too niche or private), but TRFK captures the largest number across layers, especially the high-growth compute/networking side driving AI demand.
For the latest exact overlap, check the ETF issuers' holdings pages (they update frequently).

Jumped into NCLH after their earnings call this morning at 17.08 average. Trend lines going back 5 years show the basement around 16 and a ceiling of 27 (give or take) over the next few months. Going to use this as a swing trade and hold it to see what happens. I'll cut loose if we drop below 15.50 short term but will look to add more if we see support.

Edit - will need to break the current downward trendline to do it which plays out over the summer.

Using trend lines looks like DOW is at the next ceiling, which has given us no reason to think it can't break through another one. Using the ATH 3 months ago, that trend line hit late today prior to a brief 80 point sell off.

Gonna watch this and maybe play SDOW tomorrow if we retrace further. We can go down 500 points tomorrow and still not sweat it in terms of positive trends.

Break out and going UDOW till the cows come home.

So this played out with a fakeout. Had a strong start and then SDOW took over. I'll admit I got out and missed about 50% of the gains as my wife and I were celebrating our twins 1st birthday, which was just awesome!

I'm watching the dow now and we hit major support this morning and bounced off. Direction next few days (minus news on the war) on betting green/red will most likely be revealed this afternoon.

I have been having a constant win rate for awhile on selling and rolling calls every so often on many dog names that I have lots of share and I've held for awhile with the hopes they take off one day... i.e. NIO and RKT. Anyone have any names that they do this strategy having good success?
