If you wanted to be bold and start layering back into TSLA, this would be the very first place to do so. Just know, it is likely to come lower. I'm still waiting while holding TSLZ.

I want Powell to add a little bit of leverage and cut down some of their backlog then really try to turn datacenter buildout into another revenue stream since it's such a low percentage total revenue so far. From what I gather, that's not how they roll. However, I will stay invested and add more.
IMO, not adding leverage would position them as best in class should we have a legitimate correction. I'd prefer they stick to strong performance, sound management, and not changing what's working. The stock will have its corrections. It's STILL not even below the RSI mid-line on weekly candles. It takes time to digest generational type moves like that it did last year. Leveraging at this point is what bad operators do like BTC miners and gold miners. When you see a company add leverage near ATH's in a bull market that is extremely overbought, it's a sign that they view it as their ONLY path to higher stock price.Chef Elko said:

The new manufacturing facility goes online within the next 6 months, according to their CC last week. That should help them address their backlog.Chef Elko said:

Yeah and I think they are run that way, for better or worse, due to the majority of their revenue tied to oil and gas companies. They have seen many booms and busts operating out of Houston for all these years and have survived with low leverage.
Want to be clear, I don't disagree with you on leverage. I just disagree on adding leverage NOW. I'd rather them sit on cash and wait out any potential storms. If things are fine, they won't need leverage. If not, then wait for the storm to pass and potentially add manageable leverage at lower rates.Chef Elko said:

TSLA - I'm sitting on 20% gain TSLZ. Didn't advise it, because I was expecting TSLA to move a little higher before dropping. It was a starter position that took off. But once we get sign of a low in place, I will wait for confirmation and likely enter TSLL looking for TSLA $340-$360 on a rebound. Will use a trailing stop if it performs as expected, not trying to time max gain. I fully expect that bounce to get sold to one more low. And it THAT happens, as of now, that's where I would add shares AND a larger TSLL position.

And again, this low $330 range is a great place to add a starter position. TSLA is one of those stocks that tends to "not complete" it's clean and expected full-sized moves. I'm willing to wait until a solid rebound that isn't overlapping off a bottom before I add shares. I can play TSLL in and out with tight stops.
Last thing on Powell others may have input on. I would expect increasing datacenter business would allow them to trade at higher multiples vs their traditional oil and gas business. I have not done any DD on this but generally tech/AI focused businesses will trade at higher multiples than oil and gas / oilfield service companies do.

$POWL has 46 manufacturing shop jobs posted for Houston location posted in the last few weeks so they look to be ramping up the labor. They are for wireperson, material handler, MIG welder, etc. Also noted that the hours are overnight on some posting so running multiple shifts.
