Anyone else having major problems with on time deliveries? Over the past couple years, it's gotten bad. What Am I paying for?
If you had had enchiladas, it would have been on your porch before you went to lunch.jja79 said:
A 1.2 million SF Amazon fulfillment center opened near me 3 months ago. Last week I placed an order, went to lunch and it was on my porch after a chili relleno plate.
completely opposite from what I experience:Lake08 said:

Where do you live? I almost never have an issue in Houston.

About 40% of my packages delivered by amazon have arrived open. Just recently I ordered a new set of golf clubs and it arrived open with the drivers missing
That is correct. The drivers are employees of a business that contracts with Amazon. If they hit performance KPIs, the owner doesn't necessarily pass on the bonus money to drivers so the bad ones will have high turnover and probably more susceptible to this kind of thing.Kenneth_2003 said:
I don't think Amazon drivers are actual Amazon employees. I think they use the FedEx model where routes can be purchased or otherwise picked up and the drivers are all contractors. I think the vans are leased by the route owner.
I'm pretty sure that's how they've resisted unionization all this time.

I've had the opposite experience - I get many things same day now and some things I am getting in just a few hours.
They took away the download order history (.csv) option back in march, how are you doing it now?ri said:

I googled "how to download data" and found some articles. In the app, click on "your account" > scroll all the way down to "data and privacy" > select "request your information and then "orders"
