32 automatic bids and 32 at-large bids. A few conference champions will be in the top 30 but not more than ten, and NET ratings have been fairly good predictors of at least on the bubble teams for men's and women's tournaments. Every auto bid outside of the top 64 NET essentially eliminates one NET ranking spot for an at large team in the top 64 NET spots.

Hence 42 would be on the bubble but 32 usually isn't. Some depends on finishing strong, eye tests on injured personnel, and conference strength (aka conference RPI.)

We need to win I would guess four games between conference and conference tournament. Hated letting that one get away since it gave us eight losses in conference. And we showed in the first half we could stay in the court with them.

Yeah, I agree. Just very rare that we have been able to put together a complete game. The loss last night stings.
