How many more years do the Ags retain this coach? The team shows no improvement in the years she has been here

Seems like we will just let her play it out. $2 million in salary down the drain over the next two years.

What is the difference between A&M and Georgia for Joni ?
She was successful there. What happened ?
Has she been too focused Team USA ?

She was not that successful at Georgia either. It was assumed she'd recruit elite here…

She took over a storied Georgia program that under the previous legendary coach Andy Landers had gone to the national championship multiple times, including many sweet sixteens and elite eights. She missed the tourney 3 times in 7 years for Georgia, with Landers they missed the tourney 3 times in 33 years. Georgia was happy to see her go…

Need to go get Molly Miller from GCU. Time for a fresh start.

I agree with that recommendation 100%. I wanted her when we hired Joni. Could have doubled her salary and still saved $1M/year.
Outscored maybe, but never beaten!

This has gone from hard to watch to downright embarrassing. We aren't even remotely competitive at any point in the game.

The fans need to recognize the system and their part in it. Fans want a say in personnel. But they aren't in agreement but pretend they are part of a consensus. I think it is importsbt to give them a listen but not necessarily to do what they want. And the best way favs can influence policy and personnel is giving and spending. But it isn't a right…it is an opportunity.

I would offer that even very bright people can make a series of choices that don't work out. I thought (and have shared) watching Joni at Georgia before she was hired that she looked the role of what we needed next.

Also remember Dawn Staley didn't start at South Carolina with a championship. I think it is enough to let the TMF / Trev know what you think. I prefer doing that through back channels not on public forums.

Then return to the main job of fans: those are Aggies and they are doing what they can to learn and execute the game plan. Your support is NECESSARY and MATTERS to them.

Quit carping and support them. Do your job.

No. This is a forum to discuss and say what we want to say. Vocal frustration for inconsistent results/effort/ROI, while questioning the direction of a program is fine and should be expected.

Do we overreact sometimes. Yes. Is that also ok? Yes. The reality is, though, if we didn't care, we wouldn't be here. But we do. And we expect more from the 7th highest paid coach in the NCAA (WBB). The buck stops with her.

Yeah guys cmon! We really need to step it up! If we cheer a little harder on this internet basketball forum, maybe next game we'll only lose by 30 instead of 40! Those turnovers are on us! We have to be better!

Northern Arizona, Colorado State, Southeastern Louisiana, Norfolk State, Wyoming, Stephen F Austin, Northern Iowa, Green Bay, Portland, St John's, Missouri State, UTSA, Seton Hall, Villanova, Southern Florida, Florida Gulf Coast, Grand Canyon, Murray State, Ball State, Belmont, Montana State, James Madison, Middle Tennessee, St Joseph's, Princeton, UNLV, Fairfield, South Dakota State, George Mason, Columbia, Harvard, Richmond, Creighton…

What do these schools have in common. They all currently have a higher NET Ranking in women's basketball than the Texas A&M University Aggies. Surely they must be outspending us in resources, NIL, coaching, and facilities.

Okkkkkk - never expected it to. This forum is for fans and we support the hell out of the team and also voice frustrations when they are warranted. This isn't democracy of dissent. Duh. One can complain on a forum/social media AND also contact the AD and voice the same frustrations. The reality is, nothing we do or say matters unless we are donating $1m plus (and even then it shouldn't). We deserve a competent AD that will do what needs to be done to get this right, and be as transparent about it as he can be. Just as we deserve a competent WBB staff, and my opinion is they have failed the institution and the players on the team representing Texas A&M. That's not a personal assault on Joni. That's just the reality. If we hired her to create a really great Beyond Basketball program then kudos to her. That's not the job, though IMO. And don't expect your carping of our behavior to change anything either.

Tonight we play Florida with another Aggie Transfer Erin Kindred on the Fla team. She is getting about 10 min a game and about 3 points a game. She could have done more than that if she had stayed here. Aggies are looking to stop the bleeding and avert 7 straight losses. After tonight will have 3 games to close the season and try to salvage a win.

Tonight we're playing with 5 or 6 fully healthy girls, there are currently 9 former Aggies at the top of my head that are currently playing elsewhere after transferring out. We signed 1 girl last year and picked up only 2 transfers. Recruiting is hard, but apparently so is simple subtraction and addition…

Janiah Barker - UCLA
Sydney Bowles - Florida State
Maliyah Johnson - Ball State
Zaay Green - Alabama
Eriney Kindred - Florida
Mya Petticord - Rutgers
Kay Kay Green - Charlotte
Kylie Marshall - SMU
Tineya Hylton - Cincinnati

Did not transfer elsewhere, but decided to retire and not rejoin the team - Jordan Nixon and Sydnee Roby.
