I think Tech might lose to Houston in September, in Lubbock, or at least I'm thinking about it. will let you know. You might end up losing 3 games on an even weaker schedule than last year. I hope your RBs are healthy. If they are all going strong, you have an offense.

Tech spent what, $4 million on this guy? You don't spend that kind of money on 1 player if you believe your 2nd option at QB can win in the playoffs. Tech has a good team for B12 standards no doubt, but Oregon exposed both Tech and how terrible the competition was that they played on a weekly basis.

Tech spent the money on Sorsby as they were not sure how Hammond would recover form his torn ACL. His recovery now is ahead of schedule, even though he will probably not play the first 3 games but early on there was question he would be back at all for the season.

Oregon exposed our average QB, which was the weak link in last years team. Sorsby would have been option A but Hammond is a solid option B.

Hammond put up great numbers w the Hutto Highschool Hippos. didn't win much though. So he does seem to be in that Sorsby zone.

Oregon exposed more than your weak QB. He didn't give up 23 points to Oregon's offense. The problem Tceh has is the same thing every Big XII team faces every time they make the playoffs - over-inflated opinion of how good you are because you beat up on midgets every week. Then the playoffs come and the Big XII rep is just the tallest midget.

He shouldn't take another snap of college football anywhere.

Tech did not know about this when they signed him. NCAA ruled, tech would have abided by that. A judge ruled an injunction that he can now play is Tech supposed to not let him play?


Tech didn't do anything wrong here. He did do something wrong and honestly if the ruling would have been no injunction and he can't play I would be fine with that.

But the judge did rule the injunction, he has gone to rehab and is getting help, and now he can play. Tech should support the kid but also have a "no tolerance" policy that if he places even 1 bet at Tech he is out

Cincinnati knew about and allegedly made it known. Surely tt-ers are smarter than that.
Having dealt with a son who was a drug addict, getting help is one step, removing yourself from people and situations that can lead to more issues is even more important. If you really cared about him, you would not enable him. Just my opinion.
