If it was my decision I would remove him from the Team and wish him the best. The potential upside is outweighed by the downside for tech football and the university.

That's easy for me to say when my job is not on the line to win with millions invested to make that happen

But it just seems the right thing to do. I would make it more of a rally cry on the team "they say you guys can't win without Sorsby let's prove them wrong"

The ruling just stated he is eligible to play, Tech is saying they will continue to evaluate him and his recovery and if he will play.....

Whats silly is to not even have accurate numbers since the HEF was boosted to $787.5 Million every year and reduced the number of schools that have access. The TUF is a $3.9 Billion Endowment that Tech now receives over $60 million a year from.

It's also silly to act like A&M College Station receives all the PUF and AUF cuz its split amongst 6 Universities, HSC, 6 state agencies, and the System office.

This guy is out of touch, Pete Rose was banned from baseball for doing exactly what he did, betting on his own team…this really isn't that difficult, Tech…remove him from your team or at the very least not let him play a down of football for your team this season.

The Alabama baseball was fired for the same reasons- including having friends go to ballparks and casinos that allowed betting on college baseball games including his own games a few years ago.

Same. As far as I can tell, there are two Tech fans participating in this thread currently, and both of us are of the opinion that Sorsby should not be allowed to play. Not sure what all the consternation is about. Yes, there are some Tech fans that want him to play. I think those people are wrong. I also think the posture of our coaching staff, athletic dept, and school admin is wrong, and I hope they change their position. I have written emails to all of them to that effect.

I wonder if tceh is still trying to get t.u. to play the 1st game of the year now that the Wonder Boy QB won't be eligible?

Who here is goal tending for him? Not like he needs it anyway. He is the chairman of the board of regents.

I think he has done some truly wonderful things for Tech. His posturing on this issue isn't one of them, though.
