This is beginning to sound a lot like searching for a new head football coach. People with alleged inside info claiming they know something but not revealing anything and then facts come out followed by the "changing behind the scenes" and "landscape is shifting" types of statements. With Bryson and DJ coming out today and saying they are staying on the PGA tour, not sure who's left that could potentially leave of the big name guys. Pretty much every big time player has pledged to stay, and DJ and Bryson were about the only 2 to have been rumored to leave.
And Rory didn't hold back on Mickelson today either.

NDA doesn't really work at all.....u can't really prove what someone says to someone else verbally. I've signed plenty of NDAs

And you could clearly say more without breaking confidences. For instance, I asked earlier for you to give the number (but not names) of the number of top 15 guys you expected to leave. No offense, but you didn't answer the question and instead listed the most vocal opponents who had already said repeatedly and publicly that they had no interest. No big deal but you've repeatedly suggested inside info without even giving anything tangible. It's not breaking any confidences to say "if the names I've been told are true, 13 of the current top 50 in the world golf rankings are going."
OK... sounds like a guy who has never really been involved in anything big. I've been interrogated and been personally involved in quite a few NDA witch hunts. Not fun when you are doing a multibillion dollar deal, something leaks, and you are one of the only ~5 people who know enough to be the leaker.

These NDAs were timeline based...short timeline. Everything would have been public knowledge....not billion dollar deals.

The teams being built had captains and they were picking the b,c,d players. Some teams were international teams so teams were built by guys who lived in neighboring countries and the US teams were smaller regional teams with a majority of guys from same area. The relegation, sponsors, and team point system was similar to formula 1... which I'm not familiar with at all. I didn't ask about the courses.
I posted what I could in an effort to get some info out there to a board who normally responds well to decent info. No I can't answer all your questions or all the details about why or who. I'm not calling my friends with a list of questions to ask....but if it comes up I enjoy taking about golf and didn't mind asking things yall might be curious about. The info was coming from 2 different PGA Tour players.

So what Mickelson said was true - these guys used the Saudi league as leverage to gain concessions from the PGA Tour. They're going to get more money.
Them coming out and saying they want to play with the best players, blah, blah, blah, etc., was orchestrated to give themselves a softer landing spot from the backlash. It's no coincidence that they all said the same sht. I don't fault them for going after the money. I would do it, too. But at least nut up to it.

....the 8 or so events in fall could kinda be used as a q school type set up....not exact details but something like guys ranked 51-125 and the top ranked 25 korn ferry tour guys are playing for spots
-they basically are getting rid of everything from tour championship to Hawaii
-the better players benefit from all the changes.....Saudi had a lot of the better players paying attention... looks like those players got what they wanted in the end

If the CCP decides to start a professional golf tour with Nike up their a$$ in money because they can't take all of the slave labor profits out of China, does anyone think Rory will foster such objection?

The oaks course is good and the players/families like the JW Resort....but they liked TPC in Las Calinas too and that's out so who knows

Yeah, I'm sure money was some factor, but this seems more like Phil hubris trying to leave a permanent mark. Not all that unlike Norman's motivation
