I think they keep the par 3 course closed for a bit in the morning, but as soon as it opens, I'd go scout a place to plant a chair. I've sat up by 5 green and behind/side of #9. Both were great vantage points. Maybe someone else can offer a better spot to watch.
I'd say get in line for your souvenirs, ship them home, plant your chair, then see the holes you've always wanted to, since I think they close the big course earlier that day. I think the 11th commandment was thou shalt not go to the Masters without having a pimento sandwich in Amen Corner.
