Agree. ACC is a cool course with incredible views for tv. Austin deserves a tour stop of some sort

What a disappointment. This is my favorite tourney of the year outside the majors. One of the few appointment watchings for regular play for me.

ACC is not owned by the city, hope that helps.
The members hate it because they lose several months of playing. ACC didn't try very hard to get a new sponsor because the members don't want it there anymore, and haven't in quite some time.

So LIV fanboys, enjoy some of the consequences. That cash is gotta come from somewhere.

$3M is just the fee to rent the club. I think the club also gets to share in revenue from purchases during the event.
$3M is a lot of maintenance and improvements each year. Did they prorate dues based on losing the 5 or 6 weeks of play? Not sure how they could have lost money otherwise. They aren't losing green fees to the public like Torrey or TPC.71 jock said:Bunk Moreland said:

Whatever the number was, ACC never made money on the event. That was one of the issues.
I disagree with this p.o.v.Bunk Moreland said:
Again outside of maybe 1 person I've yet to see a "LIV fan boy" on this board.
