Such a terrible decision to say that in an interview. Went from me cheering for him to hoping he shoots a 92. Also makes me reconsider how he was acting all tournament and maybe he was just relishing the spotlight all along.

And it's laughable to say that and then go shoot a 81 at colonial where a big driver doesn't matter.

Honestly, you can tell he doesn't have a lot of media training or limelight experience. He was a kid in the candy store soaking it all up. In this video, he looks and sounds like some random guy who plays golf. A little awkward but loves the game.

Always keep safety in the back of your mind. Just stay humble.

I liked him until the Rory comment on Menery's show. I think that says a lot.

showing off his short game this morning. currently only +2 thru 8 holes so far. wonder if the PGAT is still pimping him out on coverage this morning like yesterday?

First three holes this morning: Birdie, Double Bogey, Bogey

Looks like my game. If only I had Rory's length

He was only +2 through 11 yesterday then bombed the last seven holes.

+4 today, still DFL. Looks like a few guys had worse rounds of +5. Overall much better showing today but he is what he is, world class short game and all, a club pro. Nice story and helluva a week at Oak Hill but enjoy the flight home. Guess we'll see him in Canada next if he decides to keep the sponsor invite there.

What a POS. Let's all keep rooting for him to fail because he couldn't back up a legendary week of emotion and adrenaline with zero rest or time to compartmentalize everything that happened as his life changed immensely.

Been a fun ride but in a year or three we'll be like, "what was that one dude's name?"

Nothing wrong at all with taking advantage of the opportunities that became available to him. They'd be hard to pass up. He could've done it all while keeping his mouth shut and been a lot more likeable. He comes off as someone who pretends to be humble but craves the attention and now that he has it, he doesn't seem to be able to handle it. Could've been a great "feel good" story but now I'm just ready for his 15 minutes of fame to hit the 14:59 mark.
All he had to do is watch the "cliches" part of Bull Durham and stick to that script. For the most part he did, he's getting killed for what he said on the podcast he did.

And he left us with another golf saying that we can always use.

One of my regular golf buddies might be the best chipper I've ever played with. Usually good for at least one chip-in/round. This weekend I gave him the obligatory "if I could chip like you...."
