Two years ago, we bought 160 acres 10 miles from there and it was a pleasant surprise to see this going in.

Been to Bandon and Sand Valley and they are awesome and can drive to this one…….. buts it's a ***** getting tee times and lodging at their places now.

Swung by this afternoon. Place looks neat but still lots of work and stuff to build. Couldn't see any holes/grass from the front of the course by their temp clubhouse.
Wouldn't sell me at hat as they didn't even have their payment processing setup.

Trust me, I tried to talk them into it, but since Wednesday (tomorrow) is their first day of preview play they said they wouldn't sell any merch before then.
I know I was kidding, how close is the resort to Nacogdoches? Was thinking about maybe running up there for the preview but would need a hotel.
Prob 20min north. They're booked up through end of month and only booking in advance 2wks at a time. Just allowing 40 golfers per day.

Theres not much in life you could ever call me an "early adopter" for, but after having done some preview play at a few courses, Its a pretty slick feeling when you're wearing gear for a hot near course that isn't even open yet

The site says full course open 10/26, does anyone know if that includes the resort being opened as well ? I'm sure demand to book the resort will be sky high the minute it's opened.
I don't directly know that answer, but based on what I saw I'm sure that date is just for the actual course. There's no way they'll have a 'resort' built, much less an actual clubhouse by then.

Buddy got it through his real estate connection. $70 each, said caddies are required which is additional cost. I just told him consider me in and we can figure it out later. Hoping it's not randomly freezing, but our time is at 11:15am so that should help.
