Hey, the LIV tour debut on Fox drew almost 500k viewers. That is still below the LPGA average of over 600k but at least a few people not related to the players must have tuned in…..

For bonus points, can anyone name the top player from last years LIV tour and what event(s) he won?

I am still skeptical of the single-length irons. I am probably wrong, but he seems to have odd distance issues.

I would say he finished ok after the eagle.

Nothing like shooting -4 on the back nine with two bogies. He won't be posting on the F golf thread for a few days.

Does anyone else get the vibe that the PGA Championship doesn't have the feel of a major? To me it's always been the least important but it sort of just feels like another signature event. The Players seems to have more importance. Not sure if it's because of the course section. I wish it wasn't moved from August. Feels too close to the Masters and US Open.

To me the vibe is it's just a big tournament. On par with the players. Nothing more, nothing less.

Probably always felt a little less important than the other three. In August or now, it's not ANGC, not on Father's Day weekend and not at St Andrews every 5 years. I have no problem with it.
