This is insane.

Landmand Golf Club in Homer, Nebraska put all their tee times for the year on sale today. Prepay required.

They sold every single one almost instantly.

Like battling for Taylor Swift tickets, people were queued and ready, but couldn’t even get a sniff.

Kind of crazy.

I'm honestly starting to wonder how many of these are bought by golf travel brokers. I'm starting to think a large percentage.

Golf travel. I'm sure they've presold blocks to groups. Bots. All of the above.

The internet, media, and golf influencers are such an obnoxious scourge on the game. Course opened 3 years ago and immediately started getting "wow this place is great, cheap, and off the beaten path"

Three years later and now this. Everyone wants to just be able to say they've been.

Its a fantastic course that is unlike just about anything outside of Tobacco Road. They have also cultivated a very good vibe and have outstanding hospitality.

One thing thats lost sometimes is they have done 20 minute intervals in the past and I believe they're going to 15 this year. The course is closed on Monday and Tuesday as well. Even with the long days, that's half the tee times other courses book.

My group has been every year for a trip and stay in the cabins. Were going in June this year.

How did you get the tee time and the lodging? They let you rebook when you were there previously? Or were you on at midnight when they released and got lucky?

They will pre book you if you book all four cabins. This used to be on their website but looks like they took that down.

They also offer a package with cabins that they put up back in September. Those filled in 15 minutes this year.

Landmand is really cool, "cheap" as far as these trips go, and a unique experience with fewer tee times than other resorts, so it makes sense that it sells out immediately. I got to play there a couple years ago, and I booked it right when the tee sheet opened up. Have no idea if its bots, travel groups, or golf sickos booking it, but its been that busy since the start.

Almost as hard to get a tee time there as to win Masters tickets.
