There's a Scottsdale Golf Facebook page that has generally good info not just for the tournament but golf trips as well. You have to ignore some of the posts just like some replies to a Houston restaurant or neighborhood thread.

When are you coming? Where are you staying? Have you lined up or planned transportation? Are you planning to play while here?

Everything is more expensive starting tournament week and through March with spring break and spring training visitors.

There are limits on phone storage so there is no way to capture all of the shenanigans. I'm not even sure the cloud has enough storage.

Definitely plan to hit Old Town Scottsdale a night or 2 while you are there. Between the actual tourney and Old Town, you'll see some of the best talent you've ever seen assembled in one place in your life.

Weather looks perfect for next week. Partly cloudy means there's a chance you might see a cloud.

Best deal is to wait until Saturday night to buy all inclusive club tickets for Sunday. People are too hungover and realize they don't want to miss the Super Bowl.

To get seats on 16, walk down 10 and cross between 17 tee box and enter 16 from the back side.

I've been 3 or 4 times, never on sayurday. Friday and Sunday are the best days for me.

Parking: they have free parking and free bus in from their satellite lot

If you don't have a driver taking you to the front gate parking at Salt River Fields at Indian Bend and the 101 is my go to parking spot then bus over.

Go to Giligan's in Old Town. Get a reservation at The Ends, too.

Some 20 somethings at a craps table yesterday at Talking Stick were telling their non golfer friends it's a golf tournament with a beauty pageant.

Friends and I were at Pour Decisions and a couple other places in Old Town today. The pageant is underway.
