It's finally time to replace the old, trusty Kenmore 500 series washer and dryer that are about 20 years old. It's been a great set with nearly zero issues. I replaced the felt seal on the dryer once as it was starting to deteriorate and leave brown streaks on clothes.

With a growing family, the wife wants a washer with a larger basin so that she can cut down on the number of loads of laundry.

Costco has a Midea washer/dryer set that can currently be had for $1100 delivered and installed. I'm less worried about the delivery and install as I can handle that if I need to but it's nice that it's included.

Thoughts on Midea washers and dryers? Thoughts on Midea appliances in general?

I know, I know. Just get the Speed Queen set and be done with it but the wash basin is really small. Pretty sure all the other major brands are trash these days but may end up having to go that route and just dealing with it.

Can't really help you on the washer, but we have a Midea dryer and it has been great, especially for the price. When our current craptastic washer finally breaks for good, we would definitely consider getting a Midea, if the price and reviews were good.
