Driving home from the gym this morning on 281 N before the 410 interchange and traffic was stacked up more than normal, moving but stacked. As I get to the end of the back up I see flashing lights ahead and think wreck. Nope, it was motorcycle cop leading a roughly 2000 Eclipse that was being pushed by a SAPD Tahoe with another cruiser bringing up the rear.

I was about to try and snap a pic but figured holding my phone up to take said pic of SAPD would be a bad idea.

Today's Tobin Hill CrossFit theater featured a mid 20s looking white male in fatigue pants and boots, no shirt, white headphones, one of those clear face protection shields and what at first glance from a distance appeared to be two rifles. As I got closer I think they were decorative turned table legs or maybe balusters from an old Craftsman home. He was running down across Josephine St towards the stairs to the River Walk and two SAPD vehicles were pulling up when I passed.

Weird.

Huebner and Military, across the intersection in a turn lane and couldn't get camera phone ready in time. Neon bright green Escalade with skinny tires. If I didn't have my sunglasses on already I'm sure I would have burned my retinas.

At the Doseum Saturday afternoon a boy around 10 years old or so was swimming in a water play area not designed for swimming. That alone was strange. He then proceeded to remove his shorts in front of 50 or so kids and parents. He may have been a special needs child. If not, this was a desperate cry for help or attention.
