It has been too long to remember the Dr's name, but, my wife eventually went to San Antonio Podiatry Associates for some Plantar's Warts that she couldn't get rid of. The Dr. tried the "normal" treatment for the first 2 visits. At the third visit, he said "you're going to think I'm crazy, but....I want you to try using duct tape." Oddly enough, I had just read an article in National Geographic that had discussed it as an alternate treatment. Took care of them in a matter of weeks.
I'll ask her if she remembers the name when she gets up. If she does, I'll post it. If not....I won't.
