From 1st deck, East Side you could hear a small thud, if you are listening for it.

The 105 was louder when it was fired from the practice field in the first game. You could at least feel the "thump" with the bigger gun.

We also can't see the current cannon from first deck, but luckily they do project the image up on the gigalatron.

However, the fireworks during the team intro were frickin loud! So we've got that going for us. Which is nice.

We could hear the echo better than the actual shot in the north zone.

I was in 514 in the zone for the ole miss game. Could hardly hear it when they did fire, only because I was listening for it. Of course they didn't bother to fire for our last scores.

Honestly, the terrible statues in front of Kyle bother me more than the lack of a cannon

An FTAB mom just posted on facebook that the cannon would be on the field in the SW corner tomorrow night but I don't see anything on here yet about it. Any confirmation from the Commandant's office?

Kudos to those that got the cannon on the field! Felt right to see it, hear it, and feel it when we scored.

I was glad to see the Cannon back as well. It was noticed and cheered for in my section every time it went off and everyone was commenting on how much better it was.

I sat at the top of first deck about one section over from the SW tunnel where the cannon was. It had a good pop but nothing that was II loud.

Very happy to have it back, it was a major major improvement over all other arrangements. Many thanks to the powers that be.

Which cannon was back on the field? And where exactly was it?

Spirit of 02. She was in the SW tunnel.

Many thanks to numerous, determined and influential people who never quit on this issue. Vigilance is now the order of the day.

I guess we need to work on Bootline now.....

The cannon was great! Thanks to those who kept up the good fight. And it still wasn't as loud as the fireworks. I sit in section 25, next to the FTAB.

Cannon was awesome last night!! Just wish it when off more during the game, but that's out of the hands of the Corps. Need to score!
