Balcones Lineage is a good $30ish option. Like any Texas Whiskey it will have a heavy Oak Influence. Westward is the pinnacle with a heavy cocoa flavor. Stranahan's and Westward are probably the other best know and best tasting brands. Avoid any of the the Big Distiller brands Clermont Steep and Yellowstone or the like. They are terrible. The ones i haven't been able to get ahold of but really want to try are the ones from Michigan - Zeppelin, Origin, and Cedar Ridge.

Looks like it made it to Austin. Deb's just posted it on their socials.

Seems to be getting around. Guess they pulled it from Travel Only either due to a glut of sales or tarrifs.

Talked to the guy at the SPID specs in Corpus. he indicated he was hopeful to get a couple of bottles but it was marked as allocated and couldn't tell me when.

They have this on the shelf at Total Wine and Specs. There's also a football version.

ha, I bought one of those last year when it was on sale at specs. I never realized the bottom was a diamond!

For those in the DFW area, Total Wine in West Plano just put out 3 cases of EHT SmB for $65.

Also, supposedly they have one more MM Keepers Release in the back, for anyone looking.

I'm waiting to hear about the WT 101 8 Year availability, too.

I check online with DFW Total Wine and Spec's every few days to see if they have it in yet. (I think I saw that the MSRP will be about $45).

You guys talked me into it. Picked up one as well. They were moving to the second shelf on the left instead of boxed on the floor. Still 6-7 left

EHT going to start sitting at Total Wine. $71

Nothing from Spec's either, ever, even with the new system. A manager I talked to earlier this year looked at my points for the past several months and said I should be getting called. Too many people with mega points.

I'm not longer Grand Reserve...

Curious, what was that point number from Specs? I have never gotten anything from them either and I have been Black level for years.

Go a Weller 12 from TW. It's funny that now,when I am letting grand reserve drop I finally start winning stuff. The no more 10x points must drastically be lowering the numbers.
