Tried it last week. I liked it. The bourbon notes stand out more than the anejo influence, which is what I'd prefer anyways.

Cruising through Specs on University in C/S yesterday morning and walking through the bourbon aisle, spied a single bottle of ER next to the Weller 12, all by itself with no shelf tag. I always grab an Eagle Rare when its on the shelf.

You and Johnny Foosball are both right. When batch 1 of this came out it was highly sought after and hard to get. And in my opinion it was worth 220.
Then they came out with the second batch and multiplied production by * a lot, while raising the price. They sat on shelves.
The original "purple top" was one of their Rye releases that regularly fetched 1200 to 1400 at the height of flipper mania.

It has probably been a decade since I have seen this many bottles of EHT on the shelf.

Specs on SPID. Also have Balmorhea and Lady Bird on the shelf for you gb fans.

Like EHT a lot but I really can't wait for similar stacks of Eagle Rare 10,

Plus an occasional ER 12.

A couple of Total Wine locations I visited today in DFW (Plano East and Allen) told me ER won't be in until mid-to-late August.

I was looking for Caribou Crossing for my son and they said they had it possibly in stock about the same time.

Twin Liquors main store in College Station has had the following in stock the last three times I stopped in.
Handles of Weller SR and Buffalo Trace
Blantons
Saw EHT 2 of 3 times.
Other really good stuff that I'm seeing a lot more in other places. Sure is nice.

Good thing my wife likes bourbon. I took the wife to a fancy place and ordered a Van Wrinkle 12 year for myself. She kept wanting to drink mine and not her wine. She told me to buy a bottle for the house.

Just snagged some eagle rare at the duty free in Amsterdam! They had like 50 on the shelf. It was stocked on the bottom shelf! 38 euros no tax
