We both liked it. The wife bought one as a lighter bourbon to have around. As a plus, Dan signed the **** out of it.
I bought a Cask Strength HD at the factory based on the tasting lady's very high recommendation. I've not opened it yet but I'm starting to get pretty motivated. They were only released at the gift shop but Dan said they may be available soon. Spoiler alert…

Nancy did go into the details of how the honeydew came to be, and they played a video of the infusing-wood-cubes-with-honey process. All very interesting, and yes, she's pretty much a fireball.

The one 2 years ago I got in line about 3am the morning of and I missed out on stagg jr, Weller full proof, and eht barrel proof.
I was able to get a Weller 107 store pick, Blantons store pick, eagle rare, and then a couple other bottles.
Not worth it at all so I skipped last year

I got to the Austin one a couple years back about 7 am. We missed the Stagg by about 10 people.
Last year, I had a friend drop by the Dallas one around 2 in the afternoon. He got EHT SiB, ER SP, Blanton's & Gold, and a few other decent bottles. I've decided that unless I have a couple guys that'll get there stupid early and make an event of it (predawn tailgating type thing), I would just do the afternoon drop in to see what's left.
Last year, I had a friend drop by the Dallas one around 2 in the afternoon. He got EHT SiB, ER SP, Blanton's & Gold, and a few other decent bottles. I've decided that unless I have a couple guys that'll get there stupid early and make an event of it (predawn tailgating type thing), I would just do the afternoon drop in to see what's left.

Reminder email sent out for the Fort Worth recipients of 4Roses and RCSO.
They just do one location in Houston area, DFW, and Centex per year. I don't know where the locations were last year. It gets announced in mid December if I remember correctly.

It took about 3-4 months for me to get my BT bottles after I went - doesn't solve your how to give away problem but just wanted to let you know!
