Costco opened yesterday but I haven't yet gone. Curious what everyone likes to buy that's exclusive to them. I know they used to sell certain cuts of meat (end cap maybe?) but not sure that's still the case. TIA!

Unfortunately quit doing ribeye cap at the locations I have been. They do have sirloin cap (picanha) in two packs that that are fantastic whole or cut with the grain in 2 inch steaks. Their sirloin flap is my go to for fajitas. St Louis cut ribs, prime brisket are great for the smoker. We also generally keep steelhead trout fillets for healthy quick cooks during the week. Costco was 23 years late from when I was in CS although I couldn't afford it back then and was left with Kroger.

They usually have whole rib rolls available. Just cut your own rib cap steaks. They won't be blade tenderized either like Costco does with all their steaks.

Rotisserie chicken is a tough deal to beat

The lasagna is something I always keep in the freezer as a backup.
Their Mac and cheese is good enough that I won't make mine for large groups.
If you aren't a coffee snob but want better than a brick of Folgers, their coffees arent bad for what they are.
If you are a fatty, the baked goods are pretty decent.
The prime brisket is a must.
The Brie's are good.
The dairy selection is tough to beat for price.
They also do a pretty good job of localization so you might have stuff at your Costco that you won't find at others (particularly ethic foods vary a lot by location)

In the frozen section, the chicken nuggets and panko crusted shrimp are top notch.

I love their blade tenderized ribeyes. Every time I'm in I pick up a 6-pack of boneless chicken thighs. I lament to this day thst I didn't buy every single pair of the IZOD Advantage golf pants they had 3 yrs ago. So much so that I have to make my way past the pants every trip to see if they happen to come back. I frequently buy a pair of wherever seems to be close in hopes of duplicating, but no luck yet.

Have never been able to find them anywhere but there. Let that be a lesson to you. If you find something you like there, specifically clothes, don't expect them to be there on the next trip. Go back and buy all that you may want immediately.

I don't know if these are exclusive to Costco, but I'm pretty much a Costco/Aldi now at this point besides the occasional HEB trip.

College students don't seem to be poor and on budgets anymore.

Bought a precooked beef pot roast in the refrigerated section. Mission Hill. It was pretty good. We'll buy it again.

Get yourself some of these. Great for when you get that Chick-FIL-a itch on Sunday.

They used to sell a pre-marinated tri-tip that was god awful. The flavor was good, but it was way too salty. Don't buy it if they still have it.
They used to have a take and bake Chicago deep dish pizza that was really good. Sadly, I haven't seen it in forever. If you happen to see it, get it.
If you go on a Saturday, you can get pretty good deals on seafood.

If you're into wine, buy all of the Bordeaux you can afford. They get some good deals on some great stuff. They're Kirkland branded French AOC wines are usually pretty good. They usually find a good producer and buy all of their production, so you get a good wine at a discount.

I love those things... but you're a monster to eat them in the car. There's going to be powdered sugar everywhere

Several of the items we get at Costco when in need:

-organic whole milk
-eggs
-disposable aluminum pans
-frozen thin crust pizza
-frozen detroit style pizza (recently discovered this one, it's really good)
-chicken nuggets
-panko crusted fish sticks
-taquitos
-almost all the meat i cook comes from there
-Malbec wine
-if we ever do baked potatoes then i go get a bag from here, our grocery stores never have russet potatoes close to the size we can get at Costco
-take and bake chicken alfredo (we used to really like the mac & cheese as well but something about it hasn't tasted right the last couple times we bought it)
-protein bars (the box with chocolate chip and brownie)

The Kirkland flavored sparkling waters are better (and a lot cheaper) than la Croix. They also have waterloos cheaper than heb. We also buy Kirkland k-cups.

At 340 calories a cookie it might do me some good to scrub the car some to get a work out in!

I got these today and they are better than any homemade I've had. My kids went through the whole jar tonight. I've been working the sour dills for about a week or two now and I gotta say these are by far better. Not too sour but certainly have the cucumber crispness.
I hope I did not offend anybody with this post. If I did, please come see me at my address in my profile so we can talk.

Costco had samples of these couple weeks ago. They were flying off the shelf. Really good.

A friend recently had problems with Costco honoring their tire warranty, but their tires may be cheaper.

It's hard to beat Discount Tire overall if you have one nearby.

For the full experience get a jar of Best Maid Hamburger Slices(fresh pack made with sea salt) and a package of Sister Schubert's Frozen Rolls and make sliders. We build with 3-4 nuggets and 3 pickle slices.

Costco does not carry the rolls but Sam's, Walmart and Kroger do. And perhaps others

This. I've bought tires at both and I will take Discount Tire's customer service every day of the week over Costco's tire center service.
